fabrication industry. Mechanical Engineering
deals with the design manufacturing and
maintenance of various components, Automobiles,
Machineries, Robotizes, etc. Mechanical
is one of the core engineering disciplines.
It has several sub-disciplines including
manufacturing technology, thermal power
engineering, foundry, welding, CAD CAM,
Mechatronics, Metallurgy, etc.

Entry |
| What
are the entry requirements? |

A
pass in SSLC / Matriculation Examination
for admission to 1st year Diploma Courses.
|
|
|
The
candidates should have completed 15 years
of age as on 1st July in the academic year
for 1st year admission. |

| Lateral
Entry |
HSC
or equivalent and vocational stream candidates
will be admitted directly to the 2nd year
of Diploma Engineering minimum pass with
prescribed subjects as per Director of Technical
Education admission rules. |

years course. You can seek employment in

| FLUID MACHANICS
LAB |
In
fluid mechanics lab we can conduct experiments
in reciprocating pumps, centrifugal pumps,
pelton wheel, Bernoulli’s theorem,
mouthpiece, orfice and pnumatic trainer
kit. |

| THERMOL LAB |
In
thermal lab we have equipments to find flash
and fire point of oil by using penskey martins
apparatus, open cup & closed cup, and
also find viscosity of oil by using reward
and says bolt viscometer.

In
addition to above we have air compressor
single cylinder, vertical diesel engine,
calorimeter etc. |

In
our lathe workshop we have NAGMATI Brand
all geared Head precision lathe and also
PROTECH brand lathes with all standard accessories.

In SPI machines workshop we have, shaper,
planers, slotter, cylindrical grinding,
surface grinding, milling M/C, and CNC turner,
CNC milting machines. |
