Is the Course for me?

The course is ideal for you if you are looking for a career where advanced designing fabrication and trouble shooting skills are required.

Electronics & Communication Engineering deals with the following areas like, Design and fabrication of Electronic circuits and components, Electronic equipments Manufacturing Industries, Telephone and Television Communication stations, Radio signals Broadcasting stations, Radar Communication & Satellite launching stations and Computer hardware & software industries.

Entry

What are the entry requirements?
	A pass in SSLC / Matriculation Examination for admission to 1st year Diploma Courses.
	The candidates should have completed 15 years of age as on 1st July in the academic year for 1st year admission.

Lateral Entry
HSC or equivalent and vocational stream candidates will be admitted directly to the 2nd year of Diploma Engineering minimum pass with prescribed subjects as per Director of Technical Education admission rules.

Syllabus

What will I learn?

Generally you learn physics, mathematics, project management, computer languages and specific topics in Electronics & Communication Engineering such as, Electronic Circuits & Components, Digital electronics, Communication engineering, computer hardware, advanced microprocessor and microcontrollers, computer networking, Embedded systems design & VLSI etc.

Where can I go next?

When you successfully emulated the 3 years course, you can choose to seek employment in industry or continue your studies further and apply for B.E., (lateral entry study from 2nd year onwards) in Engineering colleges.

You will get special preference to join in our Engineering college. ECE students are selected for TNEB and for many government organizations through Government Employment exchanges or by entrance examinations.
